To complicate things even further, a ruthless pharmaceutical company CEO in search of one of Maxwell's priceless possessions, an ancient Mayan codex which contains all the lost lore of Mayan herbal medicine--knowledge which would revolutionize pharmacology--has sent out mercenaries with orders to kill anyone standing in his way, including the beautiful enigmatic woman accompanying one of them. The race for treasure is on-with stakes being dangerously high.
